| Lesbian marine to be jailed after she and girlfriend 'faked marriages |

| A lesbian marine in San Diego is expected to be jailed for up to one year after she and her girlfriend allegedly married male colleagues to claim $75,000 in married couple allowances. Corporal Ashley Vice has been charged with conspiracy, making false official statements, fraud and adultery for allegedly marrying to qualify for financial assistance offered to heterosexual married couples. Vice said that she married a straight colleague because she wanted to live off base with her civilian girlfriend but could not afford it. |

| #2 I still remember the time when straight females were denied housing allowance commensurate with their male counterparts. DoD lost that case in federal court and had to pay the same rate. When the gays marry in states which authorize such unions as marriage, no matter what the JAG told the Chairman, the fed courts will eventually direct DoD to do the same again. That means paying housing allowance and equal access to government housing. Till then don't file false official statements boys and girls. That's a whole other offense, even though we can count down as the radicals in the community will blames this on homophobia rather than an issue of integrity. |
