Somali pirates have released a Kuwaiti ship after receiving over USD 12 million, the largest ransom paid so far by an Arab nation to free a trapped vessel.MV Zirku, a UAE-flagged fat merchantman owned by a Kuwaiti company, and its 29 crew members were released after the pirates received the huge ransom, a Press TV correspondent reported.
The ship had been caught on the way from Singapore to Sudan on March 28.
