Iran calls for equal wealth distribution
2011-06-04
[Iran Press TV] The Iranian president says all the problems existing in the world stem from global mismanagement, which has resulted in unequal distribution of wealth.
Now he's playing Robin Hood for those his policies have made poor?
"As a result of the existing immoral management in the world, most of the wealth is in the possession of a select few and the majority of the people of the world are held back," Mahmoud Short Round Ahmadinejad said on Thursday.
"Even though a minority have created the wealth, and a majority have done nothing to earn the wealth they covet, which we plan to steal from the rightful owners and distribute to the undeserving."
The president said that the wealth amassed in the US and European countries is "not the fruit of their hard work," IRNA reported.
Ah. Not the poor of his nation, but the poor nations. Good luck with that redistribution effort, Mr. President.
"All of this wealth is the result of imposing poverty upon other countries," Ahmadinejad said, adding that "the American and European people are too held captive by the cruelty and injustice of their corrupt leaders."
Yes, but we can vote ours out, unlike your people. Although they did try, and were punished for it by your uniformed thugs...without a peep from our president, I'm ashamed to say.
If the United States' military spending along with the military beget of a few other countries were distributed across the world, there would be no poverty, Ahmadinejad said.
No understanding of economics, that man, which is what comes from spending one's youth memorizing religious literature instead.
The Iranian president also praised late founder of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Khomeini, saying the ideas and thoughts of Imam Khomeini will never be forgotten.
Ah-MADMAN-ejad has also been identified as one of the 1979 US Embassy hostage-takers.

He still awaits the "Osama Bin Laden treatment".

"Imam Khomeini's thoughts are divine in nature," Ahmadinejad said on Thursday, ahead of the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini.

#4  Devious. After only two years of having to deal with democrats, socialism has been implanted into his head. If the iranian gov is self sustaining, dinner jacket will be in the coat closet soon.

#1  This is funny, coming from a nation where the religious elite and their Praetorian Guard control most of the economy.
