| Unexpectedly Bad Jobs Report Unemployment 9.1% |

| Employment rose far less than expected in May to record its weakest reading since September, while the jobless rate rose to 9.1 percent as high energy prices and the effects of Japan's earthquake bogged down the economy. Nonfarm payrolls increased 54,000 last month, the Labor Department said on Friday, with private employment rising 83,000, the least amount since June. Government payrolls dropped 29,000. |

It is about time he stops getting a pass from criticism and questioning. The MSM has become the enemy of Americans. hope all these merchants of propaganda go the way of the Dodo bird---extinct. |

| #4 #3 - can't answer your question unless you know how much of the gov't statistics are fictional. If the gov't should cut its spending, its payrolls will plunge accordingly, and this should be 'expected', but it will come as a nasty surprise anyway. We need to hire better 'expectors' of statistics than the ones we have been using. |
