Huckabee says no to US presidential bid |

[Iran Press TV] Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee has announced that he will not make a run for the White House in the 2012 US presidential election. "My answer is clear and firm. I will not seek the Republican nomination for president this year. I'm going to gladly continue doing what I do," Huckabee told viewers at the end of his Fox News program. Huckabee -- ranking high in polls among Republicans -- lost the Republican presidential nomination in 2008 to ![]() MaverickMcCain. ... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution... He then became an author, speaker and contributor to Fox News, where he makes about USD 500,000 a year in a contract ![]() Associates also noted that Huckabee was not a big supporter of fundraising, an essential aspect of a campaign.
