Mob attacks Christian protest in Egypt
2011-05-15
An angry mob attacked a group of mainly Christian protesters demanding drastic measures to heal religious tension amid a spike in violence, leaving 65 people injured, officials said Sunday.
Of course they're angry: Christians don't get to demand things from their Muslim overlords in that part of the world.
The Christian protesters have been holding their sit-in outside the state television building in Cairo for nearly a week following deadly Christian-Muslim clashes that left a church burned and 15 people dead.

More than 100 people rushed into the sit-in area, lobbing rocks and fire bombs from an overpass and charging toward the few hundred protesters sleeping in the area. Vehicles were set on fire and fires burned in the middle of the street.

#2  I am going to be politically incorrect for the moment. Having looked at the history of Islam and read some of the Koran I must say there is a satanic quality to this religion. The Hitler fascination in WW11 and Bath party imitation. In battle calling upon the hosts of the dead to rise and fight on. The persecution of all other religious faiths or governments. People seize the opportunity to control others and this religion (but some variants take a different path for they are as diverse as Christian's in their faith) is one vehicle they chose. Then OBL found to have things in his possession that were unclean to his faith. Many are said to be religious but few live the path shown to them. When you place your faith in people and governments you will be disappointed. Our founding fathers new in GOD WE TRUST. We must answer to a higher authority. Then to believe in nothing you will fall to anything that comes along. The left constantly tries to rewrite the constitution for it is a living document. That would be like rewriting religion.
A belief we are held accountable, a belief in the betterment of humankind would balance this uncertain world for all living things. Much has been written. Many have foretold a traumatic future. Up and down, rise and fall, repeat and repeat. This is the lot of humankind then?. Like yeast in a petri dish that has exhausted it medium. No, what America has shown is that we are a melting pot of people from around the world who can work together. Develop all our natural resources of the land sea,air and people. Then the future is ours to chose. From here to other worlds anything then is possible(Brazil is planning an underwater city to mine the trillions of barrels of oil to be found there). To look upon the future is frightening to many. That is why we have leaders, representatives and our constitution. We all have our part to play. Which is yours or which is yours.
