There's a big brewhaha about a young lad who ran afoul of the RAB. The stories are way too long to quote here, but there are a bunch of them: Limon a victim of 'shootout' Rab firing questioned Limon's mother sues 6 Rab men Case against Rab recorded at last For whom Limon was shot They all speak of Limon's innocence I don't think Limon is long for this world... |

#3 I worked in a sweatshop sewing factory several summers to help pay for my undergrad degree. (Truly sweatshop - no A/C, piece rate pay only with lots of deductions and little English spoken.) I can relate to young Limon's attempts to earn tuition in a brickyard if indeed he was caught in a crossfire and didn't deserve it. |

#1 Limon bled for three hours on the bank of river Sandhya before the Rab members realised that the boy immediately needed medical attention. The law enforcers then took him to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in Barisal, which took another five hours on the way. Sorry, kid. We ain't used to dealing with live ones. “I wanted to be a banker, but that dream of mine is shattered." Sounds like that story Newman and Kramer thought up to beat a speeding ticket. |
