| DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE HEADQUARTERS REGIONAL COMMAND-SOUTH COMBINED JOINT TASK FORCE-10 KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, AFGHANISTAN, APO AE 09355 April 29. 2011 Team RC-South, Today marks the beginning of a new era for the United Kingdom and the British royal Family as his Royal Highness Prince William of Wales weds Mr. Catherine Middleton. Please join me in congratulating the new couple and the British people on the occasion of this happy event. This event brings together two cherished and enduring institutuoins: thata of the royal Family and holy matrimony. The British monarch dates back the reign of Ebgert, King of Wessex, in 802, while the institution of marriage is enshrined in the canons of all the world's major religions. As the people of the United Kingdom celebrate this addition to their royal Family, please take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the relationships we have formed in our own international Family here at Regional Command-South.
