handed over their weapons and surrendered to government in western Afghanistan on Wednesday, Afghan National Directorate of Security said in a statement.The men were active in Shindand district and surrendered to government along with their commander Sayed Ahmad, added in the statement.
The statement said that the men have promised to work for peace in their province.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
