Outlaw killed in Pabna 'shootout'
2011-04-27
An outlawed party leader was killed in a 'shootout' between his cohorts and police in Ataikula of Pabna early Tuesday.
Shootout means the police didn't pick him up first, yank his fingernails out at the local coppe shoppe, truck him out to the site and put a round behind each ear before dumping his body on the 'X'...
The dear departed, Tikka Khan alias Tikka,
That's NOT an alias!
35, was the chief of Purba Banglar Communist Party (Lal Pataka), Ataikula unit, police said.
They whacked another Purba Banglar commie? Didn't know they had any left. Shouldn't they be stuffed and mounted in a museum of horrors?
Officer-in-charge of Ataikula Police Station Md Habibul Islam said his team took position at Shimulchura under the cop shoppe at about 3:30am after receiving information
Tip o' the hat to Mahmoud the Weasel...
that the outlaws were moving towards the area from Chandail of Atgharia.
We have no idea where that is...
Spider senses tingling at the proximity of the law enforcers, the gang opened fire on them forcing them to retaliate with bullets.
As opposed to custard pies, their usual tool of choice.
Tikka was caught in the line fire and was struck down in his prime while his associates managed to flee the scene.
... as though they had never been...
the OC said.

Over 100 bullets were traded during the half an hour long 'shootout', he added.
That seems an awful lot of metal flying through the air, if only one person was actually bullet-hit...
A shutter gun and six rounds of bullets were recovered from the scene.
Got the shutter gun on loan from RAB 4?
The body was sent to Pabna General Hospital morgue for an appointment with Dr. Quincy, reports our Pabna correspondent.

Tikka, son of Mohammed Ali of village Haripur in Ataikula, was accused on twelve systems in a number of cases, including four for murders, police said.
So his mother didn't love him...
With this, four incidents of crossfire took place in the district this year.
More will be needed, if there is a gang of Purba Banglar Communist Party (Lal Pataka) nesting in the area
