| #5 They don't need a salaried Muttawa. The youts take care of it handily in gangs on the street. Even being veiled is no protection from being man-handled in Egyot's cities nowadays. Because really, the only way for a female to be sure she is quite modest enough to go out... is to stay home where it's safe. |

| #4 I doubt that would fly in Egypt. The Egyptians think themselves a cut above that sort of thing, unless it is egregious, then the regular cops take care of it. |
