| Iranian warships pass through Suez Canal | |

20 February 2011 -- Two Iranian navy vessels have passed through the Suez Canal and are heading for Syria, IranÂ’s Arabic language state television channel Al Alam reported on Sunday.
Israel has called their passage through the canal “provocative”. | |

| #8 Al Jazeera and Ha'aretz both say Egyptian officials insist the Iranian ships haven't even queued up to go through yet, and are expected to pass through on Monday. |
