BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The voting by the Iraqi Parliament on the candidates for the Vice-Presidents posts had been postponed, due to oppositions towards the mechanism of the voting by some of the parliamentary groups, the Legislature from the (Middle) Alliance, Salim al-Jibouri said on Sunday. "The Parliament's voting on the Vice-Presidents posts has been postponed due to the opposition on the mechanism of the voting by some of the parliamentary groups," the semi-official al-Iraqiya TV Sattelite Channel reported. The Parliament's schedule for Sunday included the voting on candidates for three Vice-Presidents, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, Tareq al-Hashimy and Khudhier al-Khuza'e, along with the voting on the vacant ministers' and security ministers' posts. |
