[Maghrebia] Two Mauritanian men with alleged al-Qaeda ties were nabbed in Mali, AFP reported on Sunday (February 6th). One of the suspected forces of Evil is reportedly linked to the Nouakchott suicide bomb plot foiled last week by Mauritanian soldiers. Al-Qaeda grabbed credit for the botched attack, saying that President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz was the target. According to one of the suspects, however, the plot targeted a military barracks in Nouakchott and the French embassy.
