Lest we fergit, A NUMBER OF RUSSIAN-DISCOVERED, FORECASTED SPACE ROCKS FLEW BY OR CLOSE TO EARTH BACK IN THE 1990's, PRE + POST 9-11, WIDOUT SOMUCH AS EVEN A MEDIA PEEP FROM THE US FED, OR EVEN NASA!? To paraph JURASSIC PARK III > "... OUR GOVT, THATS OUR = O-U-R US GOVT, SAID NOTHING COULD BE DONE", to save the US-Teen-whom-is-also-a-US-Citizen dat went missing among the Dino Isles. |

| #4 The Wiki on Current TV is a study in pathos. "In retrospect, what's distinctive about Current's troubles was that Gore's vision had so much potential. It's uncanny how close he was to capitalizing on several key trends that transformed the media world, only to watch others do so." The bottom line is that Current TV has only been introduced in petty markets outside the US, and is being "reformulated" by the same guy who destroyed MTV. That they are bringing Olbermann on board is hilarious. Hopefully they will cajole him into helping to subsidize their operations, like the suckers who subsidized Air America. To the same ends. |
