#4 probably the Republicans pick up a net of 5-8 via redistricting however, the electoral impact is more like +10 for the Republicans |

#3 Even the Sacramento Bee, liberal rag of the upper central valley, matched by the Fresno Bee in the south, showed a cartoon today showing people arriving in the 70's, now leaving with the news that CA is the second worst state in the nation for retirees. CA is the third highest cost of living state, after Hawaii and Alaska, and ahead of NY and NJ. Wow, and Jerry Brown hasn't even gotten started yet. |
