Bolivia recognizes Palestine as a state
2010-12-18
[Iran Press TV] Following in the footsteps of over 130 countries, Bolivian President Evo Morales has officially recognized Paleostine as a state based on the 1967 borders.

The Bolivian Foreign Affairs Ministry said that Morales made the announcement at a summit of the South American trade bloc Mercosur on Friday in Foz de Iguacu, Brazil.

"Bolivia recognizes the Paleostinian state along 1967 borders, together with Brazil and Argentina," the Bolivian Foreign Affairs Ministry quoted Morales as saying.

The Bolivian president spoke with Acting Paleostinian Authority Chief the ineffectual Mahmoud Abbas three days prior to the announcement and promised to act accordingly.

Bolivia now joins the list of South American countries that have recognized a fully sovereign Paleostinian state on the 1967 borders, the boundaries that existed before Israel captured East al-Quds (Jerusalem), the West Bank, and the Gazoo Strip.

#4  Immediatelypull all aid and American dollars from Bolivia and the other 3 countries that recognized "Palestine" - a country that doesn't exist, and never existed.

I can see why Israel might do that, not clear on why America would though, hardly seems worth disrupting relations with Brazil in particular on behalf of a third country.

#3  I'm not a psychiatrist and I hate to be overly overly-pedantic, but isn't Palestine a syndrome rather than a state?

#2  Since coke-snortin' Evo became head of Bolivia, I doubt we have a whole lotta play there or dollars. He's an active supporter of the indios and coca producers

Yankee dollars are still worth something, believe me.
