#1 Because the opposition did so well in the last elections, this is a cheap trick to go around them entirely, stealing their power. Hopefully this will ruin Chavez's power in the Assembly. Otherwise he will make Venezuela a one party state with a rubber stamp assembly giving him absolute power. Which is what he wants. |
