| [Maghrebia] Algerian soldiers on Friday (December 10th) killed ten snuffies in the Sidi Ali Bounab forest, on the border between Tizi-Ouzou and corpse-littered Boumerdes provinces, Tout sur l'Algerie reported. Some 4,000 troops on Thursday launched an operation to besiege a secret al-Qaeda gathering. Several AQIM emirs, including those of al-Ansar brigade, terrorist groups of Draa El Mirzan, Mizrana and Beni Douala, as well as AQIM leader Abdelmalek Droukdel, were expected at the conclave aimed at restructuring former al-Qaeda cells in Kabylie. Security services were reportedly taking DNA samples for identification purposes from the families of Droukdel and other terrorists. |
