Local Taliban Renounce Violence in Herat |

The group came to the placid provincial capital and handed over their weapons to national security department, said senior provincial officials. Daud Saba, the governor for Herat province told TOLOnews that the jihad boy group was operating under Mullah Jabar in Shindand district. And efforts were on the ground to convince them to join the government grinding of the peace processor. Mr Saba said the group pledged that it will support the Afghan government. Officials said they are looking into ways to provide job opportunities to the members of the group in Shindand province.
