Ukraine looks to attract more tourists to Chernobyl disaster zone |
2010-12-13 |
Oh, boy! Gonna have to call my travel agent, like, right now... "Tours to Chernobyl are extreme tourism," head of the Ukrainian State Service for Tourism and Resorts Anatoliy Pakhlya said.. Ya don't say? Russia also offers extreme tours, such as ones to the most infamous prison camps, Josef Stalin's Gulags. Tourists may spend their "holiday" in the Soviet prison camp and feel the experience of being a prisoner. Wonder if I can get a package deal? Nothing like the Kolyma in February ... |
