| Dutch police discover arms cache |

| [Iran Press TV] Dutch police have discovered and confiscated an arsenal of 300 weapons, including rocket launchers and automatic rifles, in a town bordering Germany. Police front man Jack Van Kleef said on Thursday that they had found a cache of nearly 300 firearms during a raid on a suburban home in the town of Kerkrade, which borders Germany, AFP reported on Friday. "There were modern firearms such as assault rifles, a rocket launcher, automatic weapons, as well as older weapons like pistols from the early 20th century," the spokesperson said, adding that the weapons were "all in working order." He further pointed out that police also discovered knives, axes, drugs, and several thousand euros in forged bills. The inhabitants of the house, a 39-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, were also jugged. It is not yet known why the weapons had been kept in the house or where they had come from. |
