| [Pak Daily Times] Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi received a threatening letter from the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistain (TTP), demanding him to resign from his post, a private TV channel reported on Monday. According to the details, the minister said that the Ministry for Religious Affairs received the letter, in which derogatory and abusive language was used. He said that the TTP has threatened to launch suicide kabooms against him if he did not resign. He said that the ministry has handed over the threatening letter to him and the Interior Ministry has also been informed in this regard. He said that he would decide after consulting the Interior Ministry whether to reveal the contents of the letter or not, the channel reported. |
