| One killed, 12 people wounded in suicide bomber incident in Dagestan |

| (Itar-Tass) -- One policeman was killed and 12 people were maimed as a result of a terrorist act staged by a boomer in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, on Saturday, October 23. "The incident occurred at around 18:50 Moscow time outside the building of a technical college on Internationalnaya Street," an official in the republic's Interior Ministry told Itar-Tass. According to preliminary information, the terrorist drove an UAZ jeep into an Ural truck at full speed. The latter was parked outside the building and there were army servicemen in it. One policeman was killed and two of his colleagues were maimed as a result of the kaboom. Two civilians and army servicemen also received injuries of various degrees. Two of them were taken to the local hospital in critical condition. |
