| Thirteen militants killed in Orakzai air strikes |

| [Dawn] At least 13 cut-throats were killed and seven others maimed when gunship helicopters shelled suspected positions of the cut-throats in the northwestern Orakzai region. Sources said that four suspected hideouts were destroyed during the air strikes. The security forces also launched a major search operation in the Torkani and Yakh Kandao areas of the agency. They said that the security forces also recovered a huge cache of landmines and other explosives during the search operation. |
