Google TranslateMexican Federal Agents rescued five individuals Monday who had been illegally detained in two separate crimes, and conducted house to house searches for contraband and criminal suspects in a neighborhood in Juarez, say Mexican press reports.
On Mexico Highway 45 to Juarez a detachment of the Mexican Policia Federal intercepted a bus and questioned a woman about a young male companion with her.
Federal agents were looking for a 15 year old boy who was reported missing October 15th from Carbondale Colorado, and who was apparently on the bus with the female.
The boy was moved to a Mexican immigration facility.
In a second operation Mexican Federal agents were directed to a location in the Partido Iglesias district of Juarez via an anonymous tip where they found four individuals, two men and two women in a safe house near the corner of calles Tamaulipas and Altamira who were apparently kidnapped.
No arrests were reported in the rescue.
Finally, Mexican federal agents cordoned off the Juarez neighborhood Altavista, establishing a checkpoint and conducting house to house searches for drugs, fugitives and weapons.
Altavista is a known gang and drug area.
No reports were released of any arrests or contraband seized in the operation.
