#4 ..It should be pointed out that military retirees will get no raise either - and strictly by the book, GS and active military shouldn't be getting one at all but not even Congress is stupid enough to do that. Mike |

#3 Lest we forget, SS was NEVER intended to be a person's only source of retirement income. It was always meant to be supplemental retirement income. So when people complain that they can't live on Social Security, my response is "Duh." |

#1 Till inflation kicks off to the point no one can ignore it and then the entitlements with automatic cost of living increases will eat the budget alive. Just remember who's printing the money now to feed that inflation. |
