Hoyer: Colbert was an 'embarrassment'
2010-09-26
...tells "Fox News Sunday" he thought the episode was more of an embarrassment to Colbert than to the House. But, he added, "I think it was inappropriate" that he testified.
Looks like someone has jumped the shark...

#5  Personally, from what I've seen on TV I liked his schtick before the Congresscritters - COLBERT twasn't the first to do it, + twon't be the last.

OUR OWG PEOPLE'S GONGRESS = GLOBAL PROLETARIAT forgot the infamous "ROGER RABBIT" Actor-Character episode, didn't we???

IIRC THE CONGRESS LIKED "ROGER" = "THE RABBIT" BACK THEN, BUT IN 2010 HATE COLBERT???

#4  "Hoyer: Colbert was an 'embarrassment'"

Not as embarrassing as you and your fellow clowns are, Hoyer.

#3  Besides, the funniest witness to a Congressional committee ever was Casey Stengel back in 1958.

#2  Sure they can!

Just give 'em some time.

For instance, Zoe Lofgren could say,"I was so distracted by my anger over what Bush had done to the country that I thought my staff was suggesting that I have a 'cold beer', but it turns out they were saying 'Colbert'. Naturally, I said 'yes' and here we are. Stupid Bush!!"

#1  Well, Steny, who invited him? You can't blame this one on Bush.
