Ex GOP Chairman of FL Jim Greer apologizes to Obama, says many Republicans are racists
2010-09-14
Before:
"While I support educating our children to respect both the office of the American President and the value of community service, I do not support using our children as tools to spread liberal propaganda."
After:
"In the year since I issued a prepared statement regarding President Obama speaking to the nation's school children, I have learned a great deal about the party I so deeply loved and served."

"Unfortunately, I found that many within the GOP have racist views and I apologize to the President for my opposition to his speech last year and my efforts to placate the extremists who dominate our Party today. My children and I look forward to the President's speech."
Did I mention that he's under indictment for fraud and money laundering charges and got run out of town on a rail a while ago by the same Republicans he's smearing today?

Let's see if these charges get dropped after the elections, shall we?

Would I get banned from Florida for life if I called Jim Greer the prick that he is?

#2  Greer is like the other horde of professional Pols who'd rather serve other professional Pols than let the little people actual rule themselves whether is Florida, Delaware or Nevada. They'll 'kill at any cost' threats to their profession even if that means engage in the most horrendous character assassination campaign of those who they've worked for or with before. The name Judas comes to mind.

#1  He said auditors found that Crist, Greer and Delmar Johnson, the party's former executive director, may have inappropriately spent money on travel, consultants, meetings and other items not related to party business.

Thrasher provided no firm numbers but said Greer could owe "hundreds of thousands" of dollars and that Crist was in "that ballpark." Thrasher said party officials would spend the next 10 days considering a lawsuit against Crist, Greer and Johnson.

As part of the financial probe, auditors reviewed credit-card use, and Thrasher said Rubio and other party leaders came up clean. Thrasher said only Crist, Greer and Johnson — who no longer have any formal ties to the party — appear to have racked up inappropriate expenses.

Asked whether he was concerned that observers might say the results of the audit were politically motivated, Thrasher responded, "They can say what they want."
