| Protester shot dead at Nato base in Afghanistan during angry demonstration over Koran burning |

| A pastor's plan to burn copies of the Koran claimed its first victims today when one Muslim protester was shot dead and several others were wounded at a demonstration in Afghanistan. The shooting came outside a German-run Nato base in northeast Afghanistan as thousands of angry Muslims took to the streets across the country, some threatening to attack U.S. bases in the country. Demonstrations later spread to the capital, Kabul, and at least four other provinces. more |

| #6 How does the writer of this story know whether or not there was any link between Rev Jones statement about koran burning and this dead so-called protester. How does the writer know the guy just didn't go jihad? I guess it doesn't make any difference in the world of agenda-driven reporting. The sign of the rent-a-mob said "America, Don't Test Our Patience." That tends to make me want to test their patience. Phueck the goat buggers very much. To add... How the hell do these guys even know whats going on in America, from that remote corner of northwest Afghanistan? No TVs radios or even electricity. The writer is adding his own views and conjecture. They would attack anyhow without this koran burning provocation. |
