[Iran Press] Israel agents have spied on Lebanese President Michel Sleiman, Beirut says in a complaint filed with the UN about Israeli spy rings.
The country's ambassador to the United Nations, Nawaf Salam, delivered the complaint to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Turkish Ambassador to the UN Ertugrul Apakan, who has taken over the rotating presidency of the the UN Security Council (UNSC), Lebanon's Naharnet news website reported on Thursday.
The complaint informs that the spy networks "constitute an aggression on Lebanon and on its sovereignty in a clear violation of international resolutions, particularly resolution 1701." |
