QUETTA: Two people, including a Balochistan National Party- Mengal (BNP-M) leader, were shot dead in Kalat on Tuesday.According to sources, Kalat district BNP leader Nawabuddin Nechari and his friends Saffar Khan and Mullah Bakhsh were on their way on the national highway when unidentified assailants opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle. As a result, two of them died on the spot while Mullah Bakhsh suffered multiple bullet injuries.
Police reached the site soon after the incident and took the bodies and injured to a government hospital. Manguchar police has registered a case and started an investigation.
