KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested on Monday five persons, including a leader of Islamic State of Iraq armed group, a senior police officer said."A force from the Kirkuk Districts Police Department (KDPD) raided Akiedan village in al-Huweija district, southwest of Kirkuk, where they arrested three suspects and a leader of what is called the Islamic State of Iraq armed group," Brigadier Sarhad Qader told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
"A wanted man was arrested in Tiek Dattba village in al-Multafa district, southwest of Kirkuk," he added, without giving further details.
