2 cops killed, 2 wounded in 2 attacks in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Two policemen were killed on Saturday and two others wounded in two separate attacks in southwestern Baghdad.

“Unknown gunmen today used guns with silencers to attack a police checkpoint in the al-Amil neighborhood, southwestern Baghdad, killing two cops,” a local police source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
We don't know if the attackers were AQI or just Sunni revanchists trying to kill Shi'a ...
“Two roadside bombs went off in synchronicity in al-Amil neighborhood, wounding two policemen,” the source added.

Earlier, two policemen and one Sahwa (Awakening) fighter were killed on Saturday and two other Sahwa fighters were wounded in two other separate attacks in the Baghdad al-Jadeeda and al-Shaab neighborhoods of the Iraqi capital.
