Rev. Al Sharpton Is A "Maybe" For Rangel Birthday Bash |
2010-08-10 |
We've reported on the dwindling guest list for embattled Rep. Charlie Rangel's birthday/fundraising bash on Wednesday, and according to our Kate Lucadamo, it's now a bit iffy whether the Rev. Al Sharpton's going to be able to make it. Rev. Sharpton, a powerful voice in Harlem and Democratic circles who is a regular at the annual birthday bash, said he may have to skip it this year. "If I'm in town, I'm going. I'm supposed to be in Omaha, Nebraska -- but I'm trying to get out of it," he told Lucadamo on Saturday from his National Action Network headquarters in Harlem. |

#4 Rangel is a sleaze, but not a pedophile type sleaze. He's more of a shifty, hand in the till, sleaze. And that hasn't been decided by the ethics panel yet, his career is over, at least let him have his little birthday party. |

#2 Bloomberg is going? I thought he was at least nominally a Republican. What's up with that? |
