| [Tolo News] At least 1 man was killed and ten others were wounded in a bomb blast in Kandahar city, the provincial capital of the south-western Kandahar province The incident happened when a government vehicle carrying the province's prisons employees was hit by a bomb that detonated in a rickshaw, a spokesman for the governor of Kandahar, Zalmai Ayubi, told TOLOnews reporter. One man was killed and 10 others were wounded in the incident, he added. The wounded ones were taken to Mirwais Public Hospital. No group, including the Taliban has taken responsibility for the attack so far. Kandahar prison has come under insurgency attacks many times before. |
