If we can get over the risk-adverse attitudes of our betters in D.C., Flying cars would have a cultural learning curve like automobiles. A lot of fatalities at first, then things would improve. |

| #5 Jim, my thoughts exactly. Seeing how these idiots drive in one dimension (plus a lane change), I am seriously afraid of how they would drive in three dimensions. Besides, when your car runs out of gas, or develops engine trouble, it is annoying but rarely fatal. If your flying car's engine fails, it could be fatal to you and the people below. |
