| School director gunned down in southern Thailand |

| A school head was shot dead and two passers-by wounded Wednesday evening by a group of four According to preliminary police investigation, the educator was driving home in his car when assailants on two motorcycles fired at him. The victim died instantly. Gunfire also hit two local residents on the roadside, both of whom were helped by a bystander. Police are seeking the suspects. |
