![]() The Federal Election Commission has penalized Vice President Joe BidenÂ’s 2008 presidential campaign $219,000 for accepting over-the-limit contributions and a discounted flight on a jet owned by a New York hedge fund. His campaign also was charged with sloppy record-keeping. #3 Agnew wasn't impeached. He pleaded no contest to a charge of not reporting about $30k that he obtained years earlier in bribes when he was exec of Balt co. A variety of other charges were dropped in return for this plea and for his promise to resign a VP (which he did). |

#1 I was told that if I voted for John McCain that we would end up with a joke as a vice-president. I did and sure enough that's what happened. |
