| Three Wounded in Herat Suicide Attack |

| [Quqnoos] At least three civilians were wounded in a suicide attack in the western Herat province on Monday morning, officials say. The incident happened in the province's Shindand district at 8 o'clock in the morning when the suicide attacker blew up himself before reaching his target, said the sub-governor of Shindand, Lal Muhammad Omarzai. "A woman is also among the wounded," he added. In another report, six civilians were killed in an explosion in the southern Zabul province on Sunday. The incident occurred when a civilian vehicle was hit by a road-side mine blast in the province's Nowbahar district, said the police chief of Zabul, Ghulam Jailani Farahi. |
