| DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: Police forces arrested 18 wanted men during crackdown operations in separate areas of Diala on Tuesday, according to a local police chief. “Policemen waged on Tuesday (June 15) crackdown operations in separate areas of Diala, where they arrested 18 wanted persons in accordance with Article IV Terrorism Law,' Genera; Abdulhussein al-Shemri told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “Three wanted persons turned themselves in to the police, increasing to 84 the number of surrendered persons in the past three months in the province,' he added. Baaquba, the capital of Diala, lies 57 km northeast of Baghdad. |
