| #26 This was probably just Helen's way of saying "I'm retiring. Now." She was even all dolled up for the announcement. Aside from Alzheimer's laying the foundation for the world's biggest Freudian slip, I can't imagine what else would make her feel so empowered that she would say such a thing. |

Actually, I'm kind of impressed (but not in a good way) that Helen actually said this and didn't appear to be drunk at the time. The real question here is not what to do about Helen Thomas but why no one has harpooned this old walrus and rendered her blubber for lamp oil. |
