| Sahel-Saharan security conference condemns ransom payments |

| [Maghrebia] A Dakar conference on Sahel-Saharan terrorism and drug trafficking ended Wednesday with a unanimous condemnation of ransom payments to terrorists, APS reported on Thursday (May 27th). Delegates also rejected swapping hostages for convicts. The event aimed at examining the links between African terrorist groups and organised crime networks. |
