| Large arms cache seized in Falluja |

| ANBAR / Aswat al-Iraq: Policemen found on Tuesday a large weapons cache in northern Falluja, according to the local police chief. “Police forces raided on Tuesday (May 18) al-Sajr region in al-Saqlawiya district, where they found a large arms cache,' Brigadier Mahmoud al-Issawi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “The depot contains 78 cannonballs, 3 mortar shells, 3 bombs, 9 rocket propelled grenades (RPG), 10 thermal bombs and amounts of explosives,' he noted. Falluja, the largest city in the predominantly Sunni province of Anbar, lies 45 km west of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. |
