Muslim extremists execute a Somali Christian |
2010-05-04 |
![]() ICC, a Christian human rights group based in Washington, DC, told ANS that three gunmen from al-Shabaab killed Mu'awiye Hilowle Ali in front of his house. They executed him by firing from close range and hitting his head and chest. He died on the spot. The Islamists had previously accused Ali and his family of spreading fitna (an Arabic word for religious discord). Trained in the former Soviet Union, Ali had served in the Somali armed forces. He converted to Christianity in 2006. "His body has temporarily been buried in the compound of his residential house after members of Al Shabaab refused to allow his burial to be conducted in a public burial place, calling it Muslim territory," an ICC spokesperson told ANS. Ali is survived by a wife and ten children. |

#6 Sorry, but when the President of the USA is a Muslim, these murders can be called "execution"... Law of the land...maybe not civilized, but the law until Melon Head swing, that is. |

#5 First of all: execution means lawful killing so it was no execution but premeditated murder in cold blood punished with the chair in civilized countries. Right, JFM - that's one of my pet peeves. In fact, it was the last straw that finally got me to cancel my Nat Geo subscription: when they referred to Nick Berg's abominable murder as an "execution." |

#3 Why is the USA feeding them? al-Shabaab runs on extorted US food aid. |

#1 First of all: execution means lawful killing so it was no execution but premeditated murder in cold blood punished with the chair in civilized countries. Second of all: When 99,999999% approve you aren't an extermist you are mainline. |
