| #1 The long term goal is a global Islamic calaphate. The short term goal, according to a very articulate Pakistani Army Major I recently heard speak, is an Islamic unification of the Middle East. Something akin to a United States of Islam, which, according to the Major, is a long held goal of the faith. Perhaps this explains the thorn in the side that the nation of Israel must represent. |
