| Iran diplomat says US behind his abduction |

| [Iran Press TV Latest] Heshmatollah Attarzadeh, an Iranian diplomat abducted in Pakistan in 2008, says he believes the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, and the Central Intelligence Agency were behind his abduction. Attarzadeh, who was abducted on November 13, 2008, was rescued last week by Iranian intelligence forces in Pakistan. In an interview with Press TV, he said Mossad and the CIA, under orders from the United States, were behind his abduction. "America is behind this incident (his abduction)," he said. Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said following the failure of the Pakistani government to secure the release of Attarzadeh, his ministry took the initiative and managed to rescue the diplomat after a series of complicated operations. |
