Norks Designate 5 More No Navigation Zones |
2010-02-02 |
North Korea on Sunday designated additional navigation bans on both coasts. A military source on Monday said the North banned navigations in four locations in the West Sea and one in the East Sea from 7 a.m. on Sunday to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Military authorities are watching out for the North Korean Army firing short-range missiles as part of a winter military exercise, which it has done in the past. |

#2 I think this "no navigation zone" business is phrased the way it is because the translator doesn't know the phrase "Notice To Mariners," which is pretty standard practice for military exercises. |

#1 And when the Norks are done playing games, I suppose it's only fair that the South Koreans get to unilaterally declare some no-navigation zones of their own wherever their hearts desire. |
