| One peace committee member, three militants killed |

| [Dawn] A member of the Baizai peace committee and three militants have been killed in a clash between the peace committee and militants in Mohmand agency on Monday. Official sources said the militants attacked the Baizai peace committee members with heavy weapons and during an exchange of fire, one peace committee member died and two were injured. In return fire from the Baizai peace committee members, three militants were killed and two were injured. Meanwhile, official forces in Swat said that security forces have killed four militants in Charbagh tehsil. The militants had been involved in killings of innocent people and attacking security forces. |
