| Nato tankers attacked in Quetta |

| [Dawn] Unknown assailants damaged two Nato tankers in Quetta by opening fire on one of them and torching the other. However, no casualty has so far been reported. According to police, the incident took place on the city's outskirts, in Kuchlak, early Friday. The tankers were on their way to the border town of Chaman carrying fuel from Karachi for Nato forces in Afghanistan. The assailants opened fire on one of the tankers smashing its windscreen. They torched the other truck causing serious damage to the vehicle's front. Loaded fuel, however, remained safe. Police rushed the site and placed a cordon around the area. An investigation was underway. |
